Red City Music Fest is a 3-day festival featuring 18 full bands in two days followed by an acoustic Sunday matinee.
April 10th, 11th, and 12th at Old City Hall in Downtown Redding, CA. Friday and Saturday are ticketed, while Sunday is a free outdoor event in the parklet, next to the building.
All three days will feature artist vendors, drinks, and a food truck.
From the far reaches of extreme Northern California, deep behind the Redwood Curtain, emerges Insomnia Syndrome - a group of five musicians from diverse backgrounds producing a unique melodic heavy sound with lyrical stories of ancient mythology, medieval torture, ghosts, climate change, social ills, and mental health. The varied collection of original music from Insomnia Syndrome is sure to keep you up at night.
Out-Law is composed of 4 teen artists. We love being loud and making things shake. Fronted by Sam Wolf, Out-Law brings pure 80s Glam Metal to present day with vintage styled originals (and of course some covers as well) that are aimed to bring the Glam attitude/lifestyle back to fruition. Guitarist (Dylan Lee Sheffer) is a freak of nature on guitar. His riffs shake you to the bone and ignite a fire in your soul! Vocalist (Sam Wolf) relies on powerful vocals taking inspiration from the likes of David Coverdale, Vince Neil, and Don Dokken. Bassist (Scotty B. Rollen) provides the back bone of rhythm and tone. Last—certainly not least drummer (Jaxx Van Sweden) is a powerhouse behind the kit. His double kick style is a crowd favorite!
